Project Description

Research in this Work Package 1 of RELENT is designed to identify common pathways that influence disease outcome and response to treatment and infection in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. It characterizes the genetic polymorphisms that influence disease outcome and mechanisms through which these operate in cellular models derived from healthy individuals and patients with autoimmune disorders with extreme (severe/mild) disease phenotypes segregated by sex and age.
