Summary
Our study highlights the possible pathological mechanisms involved in MCD. We found trehalose ameliorate the impaired mitochondrial and autophagy dysregulation in patient iPSC-derived macular corneal dystrophy disease model, which could be a potential alternative for MCD management. © 2024.
