Generation of an induced pluripotent stem cell line (HPCHi002-A) derived from a dilated cardiomyopathy patient harboring heterozygous mutations c.644G > T (p.Arg215Leu) in the TNNT2 gene
Summary
The TNNT2 gene encodes the cardiac isoform of troponin T, which can regulate muscle contraction in response to alterations in intracellular calcium ion concentration. Mutations in TNNT2 have been associated with dilated cardiomyopathy. In this study, we established an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line from a dilated cardiomyopathy patient harboring the c.644G > T heterozygous mutation in TNNT2 gene using non-integrative Sendai viral reprogramming technology. This cell line exhibited typical iPSC morphology, expressed pluripotency markers, had a normal male karyotype (46XY) and maintained the ability to differentiate into the three germ layers in vitro.
