Generation of 4 human induced pluripotent stem cell lines (LUMCi070-A, -B, -C, and -D) from a patient with ischemic cerebral small vessel disease

Summary

We generated induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from a patient with ischemic small vessel disease carrying a likely pathogenic variant in the APP gene. These iPSCs show expression of pluripotency markers on RNA and protein level, as well as the ability to differentiate into all three germ layers. They can be used to investigate disease mechanisms and support the development of new therapies. Copyright © 2026. Published by Elsevier B.V.
