Project Description
Tight regulation of translation plays a crucial role during neurogenesis. Ribosomes are complex and heterogenous machineries that facilitate translation. Heterogeneity on protein or rRNA level might have the potential to influence translation. The role of ribosomal modification in translation in early stem cell development will be investigated using monolayer and organoid differentiation models in this project.
