hPSCreg name ESi166-A
Cite as:
ESi166-A
Alternative name(s)
iPS-AB2306, MAFLD PBiPS-AB2306-Sv4F-1
iPSC line type Human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)
Similar iPSC lines No similar lines found.
Last update 9th September 2026
Notes This iPS line was generated by the researcher Joan Teichenné Jané from PBMCs of a donor with metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), homozygous for the MAFLD-associated SNP rs738409 (PNPLA3) C>G. The purpose of this line is to develop hepatic cellular models derived from a patient with MAFLD, under the hypothesis that these models will show a greater propensity to recapitulate features associated with fatty liver.
