The RL2.1 OPN1LW/MW gene regulatory region 5' of an EGFP reporter cassette was inserted into the human AAVS1 safe harbour locus. GFP expression is cone photoreceptor specific and is visible after day 140 of differentiation in hPSC derived retinal organoids.
