Project Description
The PRIM-TECH3R project is dedicated to developing advanced in vitro models to reduce reliance on animal testing in preclinical research. By establishing standardised protocols and robust validation procedures, the project strives to create reliable complex in vitro models (CIVMs) that complement traditional in vivo studies. This initiative includes building a repository of preclinical in vitro resources like models, protocols and biobanks, fostering collaboration between research infrastructures and the biomedical industry, providing training programs for researchers, and supporting industrial applications of the developed CIVMs in preclinical research.
