Flattened and irregular in outline with branching processes; appear fusiform or spindle-shaped.; These cells may be vimentin-positive, fibronectin-positive, fsp1-positive, MMP-1-positive, collagen I-positive, collagen III-positive, and alpha-SMA-negative.
