The original line was obtained from Andrew Elefanty (Monash University, australia- See MTA) and has a GFP cassette inserted in the NKX2.1 locus. In the present subcloned, a lentivirus was used to introduce a cassette combining two genes NKX2.1 and PAX8 fused by an IRES sequence. NKX2.1 : HGNC:11825 PAX8: HGNC:8622 Those two genes are under the control of a promoter inducible by doxycycline via a tetracycline response element.
